He's talking about ?1.5m rather than ?3m, so either: (a) his maths is *really* bad, and he things that 15% of 20m is 1.5m, or
(b) he thinks that the Standard have got their facts wrong, and the clause is 15% of any profit West Ham make.
Sadly suspect both that (b) is correct, and that he's right, too.
