which might not be his fault - there might be nothing happening at the moment. that last line could mean anything - it could mean he thinks koromah will play on saturday i suppose
i expect we are after ameobi but we might have to wait a couple of weeks before they let him go - depending on newcastle getting in more strikers/others coming back to fitness. and even then we might not get him.
i do get the feeling though that roeder has something up his sleeve because he seems quite calm about things at the moment and if he hadnt been given cash to spend in this window i might have expected him to apply some pressure on the board through a quote in the media here or there . obviously he has spent some money and brought in a lot of players but i kind of get the feeling he's scrimped a bit here and there in order to leave himself with a fair chunk to spend on the new striker.
