Thoughts on Shola

He went out on loan to Stoke for the last bit of the season. This shows that Newcastle are 'happy' in principle to loan him out. Surely if he is out of Keegan's plans a loan is better than him playing in the reserves? This would get him off the wage bill / 'in the shop window' etc.
The only problem with taking him on loan is that that would make 6 loanees if my mind serves me correctly and we can only include 5 in any one squad. Having had a chat with a former member of staff from the last few years, the leaving out of loan players caused more than its fair share of agro last season, both with players and parent clubs.
It'll be interesting to see how the week turns out!
