What have we got to compare it to though?

The horrendous summer of Colin, MLJ, Thorne and Hughes? The summer of just Crofty? Peter Grant's woeful shortcomings?

I think the squad is probably the best we've had for a couple of years. But it still seems to lack a huge amount of creativity and pace, two things which are vital to get out of this division
