I think Roeder likes to keep him on his toes, to get the best out of him

It worked when he left him out, then he came on and scored in the qpr game

I've always liked Russel, what you see is what you get, and he's a good pro

I like the way Roeder manages him also

I'd be surprised if, out of the players we've signed, if Pattison is a rooted part of the starting line up

I think Roeder is largely using pre season for what it is, trying out different things (like shackell at left back), and getting fitness levels up
