Boy at work here "upgraded" or something to the 3G one

and there was some dicking around with his insurance because he managed to crack the screen (but it still works fine), to be honest I didn't pay too much attention to the whys and wherefores - he's probably done something moody.

Anyhoo, he knew I bust my phone the other week so gave me his old iphone. Bonus.
