Why didn't Mrs Lion scoff the hairy dudes? How come they had a camera around at the exact moment when Lassie Lion Come Home trotted over the hill?

More to the point, how come the dudes had longer manes than the lion himself? And how did they manage to stand upright when he was leaping up at them?
