When Delia came out with the 'lovely old investment' quote, my first guess was mr fry. But then I realised he's unlikely to invest loads of cash in ncfc for several reasons:

1 He's far too busy
2 He's far too poor
3 He's a yid (ok, i just put that in to make you laugh, plenty of yids know how to make a business profitable)
4 He's far too intelligent
