*I* wear a baseball cap really quite often

Being a baldy/shaven headed thug, I find that in winter it keeps the rain from running straight down my shiny pate and into my eyes - and in drier times it keeps my head, and therefore keeps me, warmer.

In the summer time it helps me avoid the effects of strong sunshine, e.g. sunstrokey-stuff, and since the onset of some eye problems it also helps prevent my needing to squint in public.

And no it can't be any other kind of hat because it's IMHO the only acceptable male headgear. Pretty much all other types of headwear are off limits for a number of reasons.

Mr Docherty's absurd lyric about No Sadder Sight is patently unthought-out cheap trash, and its adoption as the word of God by people here and there doesn't throw those supporters' imaginations into a good light.

So, really, in the proverbial nutshell, f**k off.
