presumably they've already factored in that we'll buy a target man of some sort

since common sense and Roeder's comments have always suggested that we will. So just signing one probably won't change the spread much.

Just a question of who. I'm guessing that it would have be someone much better than expected (or much worse) to seriously alter that spread?
