I'm a fan of the old spread betting and Sporting Index have priced up probable points for the next season, I think QPR are a definite sell, maybe a buy on Watford, I think they've put us about right.
Birmingham 74.5-76.5
Reading 73.5-75.5
QPR 73-75
Wolves 71-73
Sheff Utd 71-73
Derby 69-71
Ipswich 68-70
C Palace 66.5-68.5
Charlton 64-66
Cardiff 63.5-65.5
Bristol City 62.5-64.5
Norwich 62-64
Preston 60-62
Watford 60-62
Coventry 59.5-61.5
Nottm Forest 59-61
Swansea 57.5-59.5
Sheff Wed 57-59
Burnley 57-59
Doncaster 53.5-55.5
Plymouth 53-55
Southampton 53-55
Barnsley 52.5-54.5
Blackpool 51-53
Any thoughts?
(For those of you not au fait with spread betting, buying means you think the number of points will be higher than the larger figure, and selling means you think the number of points will be lower than the lower figure. The reason there's a range rather than one number is this is the bookies' 'edge').
