like every other team in this division the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.
Think the general feeling is that the free riders and deadwood have all been cut and we know have some semblance of strength in depth (for the first time in a long time).
Expect to see at least 2 or 3 more bodies come in over the next couple of weeks, couple of strikers and a CB I would've thought. If they are serious first teamers rather than loan hopefuls I reckon the playoffs could be a reasonable objective... most would prob be content with top 10 or so.
Only thing which worries me slightly is that we could be lacking in muscle a little bit. Clingan and russell are steely enough in the middle, stefanovic should be solid. so couple of burly strikers and another CB should provide us with sufficient grit, which is what counts in this league. the rest all have enough ability to make the difference.
All in all, I think we all have confidence in Glenn whatever the size of his check book. That is what fills me with the most hope, he has great man management skills, contacts in the game and the way he has salvaged our sinking ship must surely be gaining recognition beyond Norfolk by now.
I think within his 3 year timescale he could well have guided us "home" to the Premiership.
