well.......

if I were them, I would be consoling myself along the lines of:

yes they've got some loan players in - including Lupoli who just had a failed season in the Italian lower league

and if any of the loan players do well, they'll only lose them anyway

they've only got 3 permanent signings in - one 33 year old who's probably past it, and two cheapo signings: one from Blackpool, one who's never played championship football.

Whereas we've got McAuley, who's highly rated at championship level, Lisbie who scored 17 goals last season, Richard Wright who's a monkey-legend, and er Pim someone-or-other.

Something like that, anyway.
