That is what I am really hoping for...

When Roeder first joined us I immediately started to think about the way he was shunning the conventional wisdom of the 'muscle your way out of the league' theory.

He used to mention - and admire - Watford et al, but at the same time absolutely despise it - so I for one never really thought he would 'go large' on his team. I'm glad it was not just the 'play the City way' rhetoric we have become wearily accustomed to in the post-Walker era - it looks like he actually means it.

Whether it'll work is another question - Bristol nearly did it, Reading absolutely walked away with it. Ability wise, I think we could put ourselves confidently between those two - the $64k question is though, does it translate to a league position between those two?
