I rang up Rail Europe a few weeks ago to book some tickets

The 1st person I spoke accidentally disconnected the phone call. I didn't mind this. However the 2nd person I spoke to couldn't speak English (or rather, had an appalling grasp of English), the 3rd person I spoke to couldn't handle the bookings I wanted to do when they could.

Oh, and one hadn't heard of Italy. Fantastic.

That sort of service sums up some of the idiots that work in call centres.
