Ken Bates is not to be laughed at - may be you should think about what he's doing

He's trying to persuade a higher earner, allegedly on ?37k a week to leave the club and avoid having to spend another ?250k. Whats stupid about that ?

Dont blame the board before Ken Bates either, they did a fair bit in turning round the clubs finances, offloading expensive players and getting in transfer fees to cut the debt.

Its the board before them that needs looking at.
