I remember him signing!

Was the last day of the transfer window - was obv before t'internet, so you had to get news from Ceefax. There'd been loads of rumours about him, and about how quick he was - I was well excited, and kept refreshing and refreshing the page.

Eventually went to bed disappointed - but next morning turned on Ceefax - and there he was. Was v happy.
