When a player causes as much debate as the Doc does

polarising a group of supporters to either like him or hate him. It usually means they are s**t but the club has no-one better to play in that position.

I, personally think he is not a good championship defender. Yes he can head the ball and yes he can tackle well sometimes. But he makes way too many mistakes. I don't think we can afford a Centre half who gives away 4-5 free kicks on the edge of the box every game. If he could just iron out these parts of his game he would be average. We need to have 4 defenders who are, at the very least, just above average to compete in this league.

He will "do a job" next year though. And will probably, along with Shaks be responsible for a oposition goal once every 3-4 games. Not good enough for top half of the table.
