A lot of the Belgian clubs are conveyor belts for young Africans. For every one who gets a football career, 40 or 50 get chucked onto the street.

The real talents get picked up quickly by teams like Arsenal and a lot of French clubs.

Also, some Belgian clubs are feeder clubs for Dutch teams, like GBA who are mostly owned by Ajax.
