Cos it's cheap as chips this year. We're going to

Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and we have tickets for a day trip to Alcatraz (hopefully return tickets) and Denver Broncos @ Phoenix Cardinals.

Must admit though, I wouldn't have chosen the destination myself but I have been dragging Mrs. In Holland around the place visiting my old friends so I spose she gets to choose one year at least.
