on this one can I just stick up fro GR and the Club on this occasion (rare though it might be).

Gow came down and then had talks then went back to Scotland where his agent promptly went to the press saying they were thinking ovre our offer thereby inviting others to come forward. When they didn't he went back to the press twice saying they were waiting to hear back but GR was not available when he called.

From what i have heard he's a bit of a big time charlie who was more interested in money than playing football. I suspect thast, along with the fact that he was messing us about when he went back to Scotland has led Roeder to look elsewhere.
