Something wasn't quite right though & as has been seen, you can't dangle that extraordinary "offer" and then expect everything and anything you want in return.

No doubt he is used to getting his own way though and, as seems business tradition, has gone in with a silly offer, seen the lie of the land and has now gone back to reconsider his options, based on what has come out so far.

I suspect he's gone for now, but he'll be back.
