It's actually a big reason why I am happy to stay here. I live in Leiden and work in the Hague. That means either a 15 min walk to the station, 3 mins on a bus or a 5 min cycle ride, then 12 minutes on the train which drops me off 2 mins from the office. My employer pays for my travel, although if I had to pay it myself it would cos me about 2 quid a day.

That's half the price of a bloody return bus ticket from Thorpe St. Andrew to Price of Wales Road! And about the same duration too.
