?I spoke to (chief executive) Neil Doncaster yesterday and he said he was going to speak to the manager and call me back but I haven't heard from him yet,? McTaggart said.

?He said he had been very busy with all the takeover talk and other things that he simply hadn't been able to give me an answer.

So the board have definitely been chatting a lot about a possible takeover at least.

Either that or plotting spintastic press releases to cover up their lack of desire to sell up
