The answer is short term, no. You would use more liquid and sweat more, so initially you would lose more weight but it would be replaced by the body the first time you drank.
Long term however, you would be fitter as prolonged exercise in hot or high up countries would increase your ability to cope with such problems. Normal altitude or heat would therefore be a little easier compared to what your body was used to.........i do apologise, i seem to have become sensible all of a sudden.....
