Just reading your (understandably) annoyed reactions to this buy-out situation. Not stirring, but seems to me that Delia and her pals want weighing out for the money they've put into the club over the last XX years - that's not unreasonable is it? Criticising them for trying to get some sort of recompense for their outlay is a bit rich.
To draw an analogy, I was surprised when the Town directors/shareholders basically wrote-off what they were owed because the Evans money was our best (only?) route to financial stability. Still, those directors were all independently v.wealthy - not sure what Delia's situation is but she perhaps can't afford to write-off what che's invested in the club?
