the night market in Patpong (Bankok) is a mixture of market stalls and the pole dancing clubs often seen on TV when Bangkok is shown - no hassle and a polite 'No thanks' is enough.

Was on honeymoon so didn't explore these further! The tut-tuts were ok (an experience I won't miss although everyone tells you to avoid them) - oh yeah, agree a price before getting into a taxi/tut-tut - can be pre-booked from hotel.
