and actually, you know, ask the guy some questions maybe?
All they've been so far is a PR vessel for Cullum.
All the articles have had the feel of those 2 ridiculous pieces in the EEN about Evans. Fawning, promotional pieces with no real substance.
I cannot believe they've not actually asked him how much he has offered for the club, or is willing to pay, or what his plans are for how the club should be run if he takes over.
If they have, and been told to mind their own business, this needs to be reported.
I'm quite keen on getting someone new in, as you rightly point out, we need the investment.
However this is beginning to feel more and more like Archant causing trouble (note that awful piece about how we would have gone up) and its making me nervous.
A large division is forming quickly here, and if Cullum is not onboard by the start of the season the atmosphere will be poisionous, relegation will surely follow.
If this guy wants the club, its not even slightly unreasonable for him to pay the ?30 per share price. Even if he did by the lot thats ?16m which is bugger all in terms of what he is worth, considerably less in real terms than has been given by Delia and MWJ over the last 12 years. Yet THEY are the ones being greedy.
