re: high percentage of shares owned by fans. Although that's what Skipper says - it isn't really right (surprise surprise). For a start Jones owns at least 9% and since he is an ex-vice chairman I don't think he can be classed as "just" a fan. Archant have a significant holding dating from when Norfolk news helped bail the club out in '57. I think other local businesses have holdings from that time too. I think Aviva do, for instance. So that's a big chunk out of the 32%. Then there's fans like Colin Tovell and those printers who heavily supported the share issues and who have always been onside with Delia.
So in practice Jones might end up holding the balance of power which no-one would want.

As an aside can it really be legal for all the un-issued shares in a PLC to be available to only one buyer?
