Ok day by day...marks out of 10 for enjoyment... (Overall For Whole Festival 9/10)

Friday

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong - Decent set, 2nd time I had seen them - big stage, played it well. Jingle Jangle Indie as you can imagine really! (7/10)

Vampire Weekend - Ruined by the crowd around me but from what I could hear - decent performance (6/10)

Lightspeed Champion - Never really got into him but this was the best I've seen him too be fair, only caught the last few songs. 7/10

The Young Knives - An OK set but nothing special. Amusing at times though inbetween songs. 6/10.

Franz Ferdinand - A band I find a bit annoying for some reason but I do like them. They weren't down to play and the fact they played at the best stage at Glasto (Park) helped - with a decent and enthusastic crowd. Played some classics. 8/10

Dizzee Rascal - Probably the surprise of Glasto, always looked a couple of his tunes but seeing him live made me buy a couple of his albums. Excellent performance full of energy and passion which some artists and bands lack. 9/10

Pete Doherty - A strong selection of sing-a-long songs played coherently albeit a very short set. 8/10

Saturday

Seasick Steve - Brilliant performance and entertaining stories and interaction with the crowd. Played his best songs and impressed those who didn't know him before. 9/10

British Sea Power - Good performance, helped by a good crowd, playing a decent time and tent/stage was perfect for them really. 7/10

The Wombats - Really pleased they got a massive crowd which seemed to know most of the words to most of the songs. Bigger than I thought. Enjoyable atmosphere. 8/10

Pigeon Detectives - Small stage, packed tent, lots of drunken lads, perfect atmosphere for this band to perform in and they sure did - a massive highlight. Also had a bit of fun with a scummer who was wearing scum shirt, shades and a flap cap. 3 targets for abuse. 9/10

Reverend & The Makers - Only caught a few songs but he then took us alert ones in the crowd outside for a bit of an acoustic sing song...all together now...If you f**k me over for something small, then you'd f**k me over for anything at all! 8/10

Jim Bob (Carter USM) - This was a bit of a surprise really when I got there, took me to some happy memories in my childhood. Played Carter classics, hardly anyone there but those who did sang along. all good fun. 8/10

Steve Gribben - Scouse comedian with a guitar - pretty funny really especially as some bloke wanted to have a fight with him. haha. 7/10

Sunday

Brian Jonestown Massarce - Bad gig, not helped by playing Pyramid stage, set and performance really. I enjoyed a couple of songs but anybody new to them was baffled. Shambles really. 5/10.

The Verve - Amazing. 9/10. Velvet Morning was the highlight of the songs they performed, looking back on it now.
