Could he get another one? yes of course, but he still needs the ?16m there in the first place, and as Biffbro points out there is no guarantee he'll get the same or better interest rate in the current climate.

I'm not sure onthe share thing, I still look at birmingham, which leads me to believe he may well have to but them all, that's what stalled it there.

There could well be a deal on the price per share, but if he wants to keep banging on about ?20m for players, the board have every right to make these points.
