Were you really banned from watching ITV?

I might as well have been, the amount I saw of it as a kid. My parents didn't really approve of ITV. I suspect what they didn't approve of most was me seeing adverts for things on TV and bugging them, which I can throughly understand. It's lingered into adluthood thoug, I still have a degree of contempt for ITV. I mean: "Bad Girls". Say no more.
