Alan Gow - an example of what happens to many good yound players in Scotland!

Was a good player at Falkirk an attacking midfielder who scored goals too - he players just off a front man or behind a front two, a bit like Arshavin.

Then as usual either Rangers or Celtic comes along and he fell into the trap that so many have done before of thinking that if he goes to one of the old firm, he'll be a star!

Wrong, one year and two games later he's off to the Champ like so many others - Steven Thomson, Steven Pearson etc!
