Two points.
1. The Commodore 64 was MILES better than the Speccy. For a start, the Speccy could only ever have about three colours on screen at once, whereas the C64 offered a veritable rainbow of EIGHT - in fact, that's better than a rainbow, which only has seven colours, and is gay.
In fact, the C64 offered SIXTEEN colours in total, including several shades of blue - a technological feat which has yet, to my knowledge, to be surpassed.
It also had proper plastic keys like today's super-computers, rather than rubber ones for babies who couldn't be trusted not to chew plastic.
It also had the SID chip, which allowed for a level of musicianship way beyond the capabilities of the Spectrum, or any 1980s musical act barring The Fall (on Hex Enduction Hour only).
2. Would you like to tell me what's WRONG with a squirrel wearing stilletos?
