Just looked back at my post below from June 10th...

Euro 2008
Too many teams whose objective is not to lose, rather than to win (hello France and Romania yesterday).

*And they both duly went home early*

At least one who will burn brightly but fade away before June 29th (hello Holland).

*Yep, they reverted to type tonight, typical Holland*

Always one who will initially look dodgy but get to at least the semi finals (Italy calling).

*Which is where they'll be after grinding out a victory against Spain tomorrow*

And Germany to win it.

*See no reason to doubt that either. But a shame that Portugal, Croatia and now Holland have fallen by the wayside after looking so good. But those Russians, bloody hell-great team ethos, some outstanding players and Hiddink-well, he has to be one of the best coaches in the world, surely?*
