Does anyone actually want Ameobi?

I remember seeing him on TV for Stoke last year and him doing absolutely nothing, which is pretty much all he's managed at Newcastle.

A quick look at his stats on soccerbase suggests he doesn't score many goals either.

If he's going to cost up to £3m then it must be better to try an up and coming young player like when we bought Ashton.

And no, I don't know who to suggest.
