Consequently was surprised that I'd just watche a crap game. Youlot seem to have agreed. Must be me then: cos I was engrossed throughout that 'un. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

It might've been 'cos I didn't mind who won. At the end, when the goal went in I laughed out loud, just as I did when Manyoo won the Chumps, cos the team that kept scoring late, kept scoring late.

Just a word for Tuncay: I love that guy. Just barely good enough to be among such company, but he takes everything he's got out onto the pitch and desn't bring any off afterwards. Maybe I'm glad they got through just for him, even if he can't play in the semi.

Oh - and I reckon Knee Hat shammed so as not to take a penno........
