but he was in the English league seven years ago, had a trial with us two years later and got his first full international cap in 2002, so he is well-known in the footie world and yet nobody, nobody, has taken a punt on him 'til now.

Therefore the somethign he has must be smaller than the things he does not have (strength, attitude, dedication, ability to live outside Norn Ireland?)
