Well if you read the rules it only talks about determining position, so he might

be right. Read my posts earlier on about the scenario !

It could be that Romania wins, draws or loses by less than 3 goals (or loses by 3 but scores) and France and Italy draw 0-0, and if you read the rules they say there should be a penalty shoot-out for any tie-breaker, and don't only talk about qualifying positions!

In fact, if your final position in this tournament has any bearing on seeding for 2012 qualification, or your FIFA ranking, then I'm sure they will do it.
