Thomas Buffel

Asked a Rangers fan about Buffel and this is his reply:

Buffel has a tremendous amount of natural ability . An exciting player , who when at the top of his game , is brilliant to watch.

However , he is a bit lightweight . And the rough and tumble of the SPL didn't suit his style of play at all .
He never started a first team game at all last season , as he was injured for a long time - then Walter Smith's cautious , defensive type of football mean't a player like Thomas wasn't required .

If Norwich are the type of team , forgive my ignorance here , who like to keep the ball on the deck and play a passing game - and if he can be protected somewhat from the cluggers . Then Norwich will sign an extremely gifted player who will excite the fans .
