On Beckford: I honestly don't know. Did you notice the way his form deteriorated during the second half of the season? I think he's someone who does little other than score goals: the kind of player that's a dying breed at higher levels. He could be a success in the Championship, certainly - but I'd say the likelihood is if he's playing for a poor team (ie. us, unless we really get our fingers out), he'll end up looking as bad as his teammates.
