Funny how "the lad" so wanted to play at Portsmouth too. I really can't help but think that the quote should actually read... "I've had a call from the player's agent to say he's positively salivating at the prospect of another big pay day as his cut of the deal, and that if he promises to bring the lad up for a medical tomorrow morning will we please just get him to sign on the dotted line."
