The 'right thing' in what sense?

Morally? Economically?

It's about oil, not a moral crusade to free those poor Irqaitarians and Afghanimatarians from their nasty regiemes.

So, in the sense that we went charging into a country, killed thousands of innocents and occupied it to grab hold of a vast amount of oil thus ensuring the USA has first dibs on nicking the dwindling reserves - full success!

Covering it up with the bulls**t of 'oh, would you rather they were living under Sadaam eh? like people being tortured do you?' is frankly insulting. People wouldn't wear it, hence the made-up cobblers about WMDs.

If we were that concerned with human rights, we would have gone charging into Saudi Arabia or any number of places ages ago.
