OK - believe what you want
and who you want. I prefer to listen to those out there who tell it as it is. The bloke behind me has done 3 tours in Basra and says it is better now than ever. Iraqis on the streets shopping, socialising as they have not done for 40 years (according to them). Doubtless you can poo-poo that in your own way... go ahead.
