This is why I think in the aftermath

it's a wonderful coup for UEFA, "ohh look at our wonderful officials, they can interpret the rules so fast and quickly, and are the best"

They're not going to bang on about how the ref bottled two handballs on the Croatia game because that would make them look stupid
