If Francis stays...

...he is highly unlikely to figure in the first team until September at the earliest. Why?:

a) Worthy won't play him Saturday because his head won't be right for the game.
b) He could leave any time up to the end of August. Would Worthy want to play a player who mightnot be here in September then bring in a player who is notmatch fit to take over?
c) How are players like Jarrett, Safri or Hughes going to feel sitting on the bench whilst a player who plainly doesn'twant to be here gets their place in the starting line-up. Nota good morale move.

Only once the window closes could Francis be reasonably considered and even then if we make a good start he would be only a reserve at best.

He might as well cut his losses and fack off!
