beyond the subject in hand

arguing even when you are right, is a pointless thing, as you'll only ever be aggravated further, as the subject is irrelevant, it's just about someone holding their point until one of you cracks

Winning and losing arguments is about that alone, not about who's actually got a good viewpoint
