Accents of cold callers

I have just had a call from the Carfoon Warehouse begging me to stick with them, but the chap they used had a really strong Scouse accent which (shameful but true admission) made me instictively distrust everything he said. Whereas HSBC always use nice gentle soft Scottish accents, which make me relax and believe. Am I an accent racist?
