I don't get 2001

I find it gets very very dull. It gives me the same feeling as a novel by Henry James or Joseph Conrad - I OUGHT to be enjoying it, but I am as bored as hell and know that I'm not going to finish it.

Total Recall is BRILLIANT, I can't BELIEVE you don't like it. Is it cos it's Arnie? Do you like The Terminator? (also brill)
