He has just been released from Pompie (along with Hislop). I reckon he would be in the right budget area for the NCFC, plus he has heaps of experience and is sufficiently short at 5' 9" to meet Worthy's purchasing criteria...

BTW, the same BBC report says that Hayden Foxe and Patrik Berger are still awaiting new contracts.
